The Tallinn Summit, held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic, strongly emphasized digitalization, smart connectivity, and innovation, reflecting the impact of the global health crisis. Cybersecurity emerged as a critical focus, highlighting the importance of secure digital platforms to support regional networks. Sustainable development continued to be a priority, emphasizing green technologies and their role in regional development and resilience.
Key decisions and effects of the summit:
- summit in the hybrid formula;
- extending cooperation beyond the presidential format – ministerial session;
- development of the Three Seas Initiative Investment Fund;
Due to restrictions against COVID-19, the summit was held in a hybrid formula.
