Summit in Warsaw

The Warsaw Summit built on the foundation laid in Dubrovnik by recognizing the dynamic potential of the 3SI region and the necessity of coordinated efforts to enhance infrastructure and connectivity. The summit emphasized the importance of East-West and North-South infrastructure connectivity and the role of existing regional mechanisms and EU financial instruments like the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) and European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF). Establishing the 3SI Business Forum was a significant development aimed at fostering economic cooperation and boosting regional bonds, further reinforcing the Initiative’s alignment with EU policies​.

Key decisions and effects of the summit:

  • the US president, as a special guest of the summit, declares support for the Three Seas Initiative;
  • in the declaration states emphasize that their cooperation is intended to strengthen a coherent and strong European Union;
