In the Sejm on 11 June 2026, a new permanent Parliamentary Group for the Three Seas Initiative was established. It is the result of the development of the Parliamentary Working Group for the Three Seas Initiative (Parlamentarny Zespół ds. Trójmorza), which formally ended its activity on 29 May 2026.
The main purpose of the Group is to support parliamentary cooperation within the framework of the Three Seas Initiative. This initiative focuses on the development of transport, energy, and digital infrastructure in Central Europe, serving to strengthen the cohesion of the European Union.
The Group’s activities contribute to building the brand of the Three Seas Initiative as a project of regional cooperation of strategic importance.
The Parliamentary Group for the Three Seas Initiative currently has 16 members of parliament. Its presidium consists of:
