International scientific conference by the 3SI summit „The Three Seas Initiative: One Concept, Different Approaches?”

An international conference, a collaboration between Three Seas Research Center, Lietuvos Mokslo Akademija, and the University of Lodz, is scheduled for April 10 as part of the official events accompanying the 3SI summit.

The conference aims to present research results from experts in countries participating in the Three Seas Initiative. It seeks to enhance our understanding of regional cooperation and discuss the current research in this field across various academic disciplines and national perspectives. The primary research questions focus on the current knowledge about 3SI and the reasons for the varying interest levels in this regional cooperation.

The other objective of the event is to facilitate regional cooperation development and establish a new scientific paradigm within the framework of the Three Seas Initiative (3SI), which holds significant importance for the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. Furthermore, the conference aims to highlight and promote the role of science diplomacy in facilitating strategic communication and collaboration among nations within the region.

Our Three Seas Initiative Research Center organized an official conference with the Romanian think-tank New Strategy Center last year.
