In addition to assuming honorary patronage of our conference, the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, sent a letter to the participants. The content of this letter, along with a translation, is presented below.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I would like to cordially greet all of you taking part in the scientific conference which is the culmination of the two-year project entitled “Research Center of the Three Seas Initiative at ISP PAN”.
Taking honorary patronage over this event is an expression of my personal appreciation for its goals and the results of your work. The fact that this project was conducted by such a well-known scientific unit as the Institute of Political Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences is also important here.
I appreciate all of you’s involvement in the implementation of this task, which contributed to popularizing knowledge about the Three Seas Initiative and constitutes a starting point for further research on this format of cooperation. By participating in the project, you have become an inherent part of the Three Seas community – its most valuable part, which actively supports regional cooperation and inspires new directions of its development.
The project resulted in a wide range of results. You have held a number of study visits and debates as part of conferences and seminars, and many valuable publications have been created. I also noted with satisfaction your creative contribution to enriching the agenda of the Three Seas Initiative summits. You examined the Initiative from both political and economic perspectives. You have built a network of effective contacts in the Three Seas countries, creating an entire “ecosystem” of experts around this format of regional cooperation. Observations, experiences and conclusions resulting from this project will undoubtedly be useful in planning the 10th-anniversary Summit of the Three Seas Initiative in Poland in 2025.
I would like to congratulate and thank you for creating this well-planned and exemplary organized platform for expert debate and dialogue on the region’s integration. I wish you successful deliberations and constructive talks.

Szanowni Państwo,
serdecznie pozdrawiam wszystkich Państwa biorących udział w konferencji naukowej będącej zwieńczeniem dwuletniego projektu pn. ,,Centrum Badawcze Inicjatywy Trójmorza przy ISP PAN”.
Objęcie tego wydarzenia patronatem honorowym stanowi wyraz mojego osobistego uznania dla jego celów oraz wyników Państwa pracy. Nie bez znaczenia jest tu również fakt prowadzenia tego projektu przez tak znaną jednostkę naukową, jak Instytut Studiów Politycznych Polskiej Akademii Nauk.
Doceniam zaangażowanie wszystkich Państwa w realizację tego zadania, które przysłużyło się popularyzacji wiedzy na temat Inicjatywy Trójmorza oraz stanowi punkt wyjścia do dalszych badań nad tym formatem współpracy. Poprzez udział w projekcie stali się Państwo immanentną częścią społeczności Trójmorza – jej najbardziej wartościowej części, która aktywnie wspiera współpracę regionalną oraz inspiruje nowe kierunki jej rozwoju.
Projekt zaowocował szerokim spektrum rezultatów. Odbyli Państwo szereg wizyt studyjnych oraz debat w ramach konferencji i seminariów, powstało wiele cennych publikacji. Z satysfakcją odnotowałem również Państwa twórczy wkład w ubogacenie agendy szczytów Inicjatywy Trójmorza. Badali Państwo Inicjatywę pod kątem politycznym, jak i ekonomicznym. Zbudowali Państwo sieć efektywnych kontaktów w krajach Trójmorza tworząc cały „ekosystem” ekspercki wokół tego formatu współpracy regionalnej. Obserwacje, doświadczenia i wnioski będące rezultatem tego projektu bez wątpienia przysłużą się planowaniu jubileuszowego 10. Szczytu Inicjatywy Trójmorza w Polsce w 2025 roku.
Pragnę Państwu pogratulować i podziękować za stworzenie tej dobrze zaplanowanej i modelowo zorganizowanej platformy debaty eksperckiej oraz dialogu na temat integracji regionu. Życzę Państwu udanych obrad oraz konstruktywnych rozmów.
