Conference: The Three Seas Initiative as a subject of academic research: regional cooperation in Central Europe in different approaches

You are cordially informed that our conference will mark the conclusion of two years of our research. The event will take place at the main building of the Polish Academy of Sciences, specifically at the Staszic Palace. We are delighted to welcome ambassadors, analysts, and scientists from various institutions across Central European countries. The conference will also provide an opportunity to delve into the scientific monograph developed over the past few months. We are honoured to have the patronage of the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda.

The upcoming conference will present a scientific monograph featuring a foreword authored by Ambassador Gediminas Varvuolis, who serves as the Ambassador for Connectivity and the Three Seas Initiative at Lithuania’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Professor Agnieszka Orzelska-Stączek, the leader of our project, has contributed the introduction and conclusion to the monograph.

Additionally, the monograph includes texts authored by various other contributors, namely:

– Matthew Crandall, The Three Seas Initiative and Estonia after the Outbreak of War in Ukraine
– Vít Dostál, The Czech Republic and the Three Seas Initiative
– Ivan Koprić, Iva Lopižić, Croatia and the Three Seas Initiative: Harvesting the Geographical Position?
