On April 18-22, 2023, the second foreign study visit was organised within the framework of the Three Seas Initiative Research Center project, Institute of Political Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences (ISP PAN).
The primary objective of the project study visits is to advance scientific research concerning cooperation in Central Europe. Present were Agnieszka Orzelska-Stączek, PhD, Professor at the Institute of Political Studies, Polish Academy of Sciences – project manager; Piotr Bajda, PhD, Professor at Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw – author of the programme concept; Beata Piskorska, PhD, Professor at the Catholic University of Lublin; Przemysław Żurawski vel Grajewski, PhD, Professor at the University of Lodz; Konrad Walczuk, PhD, Professor at the Jagiellonian University; Irena Wałczuk, PhD, Professor at the War Studies University in Warsaw; Irena Bilińska, PhD (Eastern Europe Studies, University of Warsaw); Krzysztof Dębiec, PhD (Centre for Eastern Studies); Andrzej Grajewski, PhD (editor of the weekly magazine Gość Niedzielny); Łukasz Lewkowicz, PhD (Institute of Central Europe, Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin); Anna Umińska-Woroniecka, PhD (Institute of International Studies, University of Warsaw).
The visit to Bratislava provided an opportunity for intensive discussions with members of the Slovak academic as well as non-academic communities. We are grateful for their hospitality and the insightful conversations we were able to participate in.
